The Phoenix Apartments
are some 1,200 meters West of  Plakias on a slope above the south coast of Crete.
The facility covers two studios, four holiday flats with one separate bedroom each, and a fifth holiday flat with two separate bedrooms.
All dwelling-units have air conditioning. In front of the house there is a swimming pool.

Plakias
is an old fishing-village on the south coast of the district of Rethymnon. It is known to individual tourists since some years, but still rather untouched by mass tourism.

Around the port and further on eastward along the sandy beach which lines the bay, some smaller hotels and apartment facilities row up.
Down by the beach road there are several restaurants and tavernas, kafenions, small supermarkets and some other shops.
The town of Rethymnon on the north coast is 42 kms away.
